The poem in english translates as:
You are the wine and the cup
You are the ocean and the drop
While afloat I remain
You are poison and the sweet
You are defeated and defeat
Sword in hand I remain
The original poem in persian is:
قطره تویی بحر تویی لطف تویی قهر تویی
قند تویی زهر تویی بیش میازار مرا
”Toyi” in persian language means ”You are” which is the main rhyme of this poem. “You are” is repeatedly used by the lover in the poem to describe the beloved.

An elegant piece based on the theme of Love. “Ey Eshgh” means “Oh, Love!” in persian language. The piece is flourished with calligraphic poem of the famous Iranian contemporary poet, Hushang Ebtehaj. The love poem in persian is:

One of my own favourite pieces. The first piece I created, printed and hanged on my flat wall. “Parvanegi” means “being a butterfly” in Persian language. The persian calligraphy used here is neither a poem nor a quote. It is referred as “Siyah mashq” in persian language meaning “Black practice”. Siyah mashq was originally just a practice for the calligrapher to warm up his hand and to refine the shape of letters by repeating them over and over. These practices resulted in a page filled with words and letters with repetition regardless of meaning, all for the sake of composition and style.

A simple yet elegant piece presenting the word ‘Hich’ in persian calligraphy embracing a woman. ‘Hich’ means “Nothing” in persian language. This piece is inspired from renowned Iranian artist Parviz Tanavoli’s sculpture titled ‘Standing Heech’. One interpretation relates to Persian Sufism, in which considering everything as ‘nothing’ is an aspect of reaching God (Become Nothing, And He’ll turn you into everything! - Rumi). It is also inspired from a spiritual poem by persian sufi poet, Rumi:
دنیا همه هیچ و
اهل دنیا همه هیچ

The name “Leyli” is taken from the The Story of Leyli and Majnun by the 12th-century Persian poet Nezami Ganjavi. The poetic story of a young man (Majnun, meaning mad) who fell hopelessly in love with a beautiful young girl (Leyli) and went crazy as he could not marry her.

Another simply elegant piece analogically representing the soul as a Deer Within us. Unlike the other similar artwork, “Tree Within” which had a dark yet hopeful theme, this piece leaves the theme and vibe neutral in order to maximise the connection and interpretation of the work.
